WazienBukhari Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 hi guys, need some feedback.. ill be doing my GRE on the 28th dec, its computerised..thing is, the deadline for transcripts to the uni I'm applying will be on the 1st feb, which means I've a month window. I understand that computer-based GRE test results arrive within 10-15 days (at least thats what the site says) will the GRE transcripts arrive to the uni in time? thanks in advanced!
WazienBukhari Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 worth to note, I'm from England, so I'm not sure if its different with the US in some ways..
Helpplease123 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I hope so, I took the test on 1st Dec and my first deadline is tomorrow! But no sign of the scores yet...
Berenger Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 You should be fine. ETS seem to be running to the 15 day deadline at the moment. Add in some time for the postage (if the institutions to which you are applying are receiving the scores by post and not by email), and you should receive the scores well before the 1st Feb deadline.
WazienBukhari Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 I hope so, I took the test on 1st Dec and my first deadline is tomorrow! But no sign of the scores yet... so mate, did you manage to get your transcripts on time?
Helpplease123 Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 They hadn't arrived in the post, email etc. the day of the deadline which had me panicking a bit but when I spoke to the ETS customer service people they said that they'd be on the phone line...so although I had to shell out the $12 I got my scores in time. I only took the test 14 days before though, with a month you should be absolutely fine, i've since got the scores in the online portal...about 16 or 17 days after I took the test but worst case you can always call. I also spoke to the school and they said it would be fine if the scores were a little late anyway as long as everything else was submitted.
