LSU Writing Sample Length

So LSU says they want "approximately 20 pages" for the writing sample. Does 18 pages seem good enough? Or do I need to flesh it out to 20? The approximately 20 is throwing me off.

I am having a similar issue with Florida. They say "about 15 pages," and I have two writing sample versions: one 15 page and one 20 page. My 20 page is better, but I'm not sure if that is too far from "about 15 pages."

you should attach a note that says because they weren't clear you took some liberties. i bet the adcom will find it funny.

Yea...I've decided I'm not going to add more to it because I just can't really find anywhere to add. I don't want to mess it up.
