dgh204 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I just checked on my University of Chicago app, which I submitted at the last minute possible last night, and I couldn't help but notice that there is a note on the application - the lowercase 'f.' In the world of education, seeing the letter F generally doesn't make one feel warm and fuzzy. Hoping someone out there might have some idea or explanation for said note...
gellert Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) I dunno, mine has that too. Been there since I submitted it. Maybe it's 'f' for 'finished?" Haha. Edited January 5, 2012 by gellert
BrazilianGuy Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Where exactly on the application is the "f" appearing? I didn't find it...
gellert Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I thought of best-case scenario: f = fellowship. This person is so awesome we want to recommend them for tons of funding, stat. surefire 1
dgh204 Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 I just heard back from Chicago...I thought it couldn't hurt to inquire. And, apparently the 'f' simply means that they have already created a file for you. Phew. Though, the best-case scenario of f = fellowship would have been lovely gellert 1
