I had some correspondence with the faculty members of the Universities and I only got encouragements that my research background is suitable for their program and ... Based on your experience, what chances will I have guys? Undergrad Institution: Good University in Iran Major(s): Mechanical Engineering Overall GPA: 17/20 Position in Class: Top 15% grad Institution: Good university in the Netherlands. Rank: Top 100 in Engineering worldwide Major(s): Master, Mechanical Engineering Overall GPA: 8.5/10 (It is excellent on Netherland's scale) Position in Class: Top 10% GRE Scores (old version):Q: 800 V: 500 W: 3.5 TOEFL Total: 113 Research Experience: 1 Publication (first out of 3 authors) Awards/Honors/Recognitions: Scholarship Recipient during Masters Applying to Where: Stanford - Materials Science and Eng. Harvard - Mech. Caltech- Mech. Geogia Tech - Materials science and eng. Nortwestern - Mech. UCSD- Mech. TEXAS A&M- Aerospace Eng.
