TeaDrinker Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I am curious about what GRE quantitative scores are expected of successful applicants to management phd programs. I took the test twice (old scoring), and while I raised my verbal score to a 650, my quantitative score remained exactly the same- 680. I know near-perfect quant scores are expected for many areas of business, but are they just as important for management?
Behavioral Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Whether or not it's actually useful is beside the point for this question, but all PhD programs in business schools place preferential weight on Quant compared to Verbal, and a 680 (66%ile) is a huge red flag.
