wanttocool Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Hi, A Washington University in St. Louis professor has wanted to talk to ask some questions. I don't know whether it is an interview. Can you please help me on how should I prepare for this? thanks
emmm Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Whether it is a formal interview or not, you should treat it as one. Prepare by knowing your own background - i.e. if you need to review what your past research projects involved, do so. You should also read a bit about the professor's research, so that you have a sense of how you fit in with what he is doing. Amogh 1
newms Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Yes, be prepared. Make sure that you read up on the prof's research (if you haven't already) and have a couple questions in mind. It could be a formal interview, or it could just be that the prof wants to tell you that they're going to admit you, or maybe they have a few questions before they admit you. In any case, it is good news, but still be prepared in case it's an interview.
