I am so happy to find this forum. I am so worried about my application. Because I have applied 13 schools, only received 1 reject currently.

My profile:

Undergraduate: Major in Economics

Courses: Calculus, Advanced calculus, Probability, Statistics, Operations research, Differential Equation, Linear Algebra

And, of course, many economic courses

GPA: 3.7

GRE: 530+800+3

Toefl:96

Activity: Intern in Shell and a French cheese company; Harvard National Model United Nations; Some volunteer jobs

Research: 3 papers to be published ( 1 of first author about math in economic, 2 of third author about statistics in a medical test)

Well, I applied Operations research because I really like it. However, few of my experience are about OR. I am afraid that my background is a shortage. In my personal statement, I wrote that I will devote the research of OR in economics and business.
