Didn't receive an email, but checked the website and statuses have apparently been up since February 1st. Received a rejection, which is a pretty big blow as UD (Masters) was on the lower half of the schools I applied to.

Hope others receive better news.

When I logged in, it said at the bottom of the screen that the status was updated and could be received by clicking the link. If yours doesn't show up, I imagine they haven't come to a decision yet (i.e. you've at least survived the first round of rejections).

I'm sorry that you got bad news. But chin up! We have a loooong couple of months ahead of us, and there is sure to be some good with the bad.

Four acceptances on the board. Does anybody know if they've finished contacting everyone already? Any of the accepted have any idea?

I'm one of the four that got accepted so far, but I'm not sure if they're done with the first round of offers yet. He did mention that there were a lot of people on the waitlist, though.

Kind of a hard question because I'm not completely decided but I'm interested in queer theory/gender studies and postmodern lit. What about you?

Yeah, I'm in pretty much the same situation, hence the applying to masters programs. Primarily though I'm interested in proselytization through literature, print culture and transatlantic studies. Have you sent in your Villanova app yet? The March 1st deadline has caused some serious procrastination on my part.

Now that I know there are at least two of us waiting still, it's even more odd. The likelihood of an error in notifying two candidates is slim, but also the likelihood of acceptance is slimmer (according to the results board their "meet and greet" type weekend is March 9th-10th . . . very small margin if still accepting at this point). So it's just odd. Even historically they've sent out all rejections by this point. This is all compounded by the fact that Delaware is said to predominantly favor MAs from Delaware rather than those from outside Delaware for their PhD program . . .

Blarg. This process is ripe for hypothetical scenarios.

i just got an email saying they can't extend me an offer today, but that hopefully something will work with their funding and they can in a few weeks. i guess this is a waitlist?
