Last minute interview?

I received an email late last night regarding a phone/Skype interview from the department chair that would take place sometime between then and Thursday (I scheduled it for Thursday). Because it's so short notice and I'm not being flown out for an in-person interview or prospective student weekend, should I be worried?? Am I at the bottom of the totem pole? I know this is the last thing I should be worried about as I prepare for this, but it's still a creeping feeling of dread and added pressure...

dont worry about your place on the totem poll, nothing good will come of it.

instead realize they've made a terrible mistake in not asking you sooner and are now desperate for you to still be free.
