ignisatra Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I got accepted at GaTech today for a PhD in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering, and in the letter they sent they had the clause: "Regarding financial aid, a decision will be made at a later date." When looking at other GaTech results, I noticed several other engineering students mentioned a lack of funding or that funding was pending. Does this generally mean that no funding is available or they just honestly haven't made a decision yet? Thanks.
engrgrl Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 When I got my acceptance (ECE), they mentioned that 3-semesters worth of assistantships would be provided. I thought 3 was a random number and they did make mention of potential future funding, but no guarantees.
