GirlsGotGoals Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I have perused these forums and haven't really seen any audiology related discussion posts. So instead of thinking that I am the only audiology applicant who browses the grad cafe forums I have decided to just start a topic to so we can all come together. Post your frustrations about the application process, questions about interviews you have had whether you have concerns over relocating pretty much anything. This is an open topic so take the discussion in any direction as long as it is audiology related GirlsGotGoals 1

Eliza888 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 I'm in Audiology as well. I've been accepted to the University of Utah and am waiting to hear back from Western Michigan University. I'm pretty nervous about WMU because I used CDCAS, and they mailed my application almost a month late Did anyone else use CDCAS? Did you hate it as well?
gradschool12 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I'm in Audiology too! There's another big forum with a lot of Au.D applicants. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=209 Anyone applying/going to James Madison??
Jamesbe Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I'm in Audiology as well. I've been accepted to the University of Utah and am waiting to hear back from Western Michigan University. I'm pretty nervous about WMU because I used CDCAS, and they mailed my application almost a month late Did anyone else use CDCAS? Did you hate it as well? I used CSDCAS too! Fortunately for me my application arrived on time. Anyone else here apply to the University of Iowa or Dalhousie University? I've been waitlisted for both; however, I'm pretty high up on the waitlist (fingers crossed). I have a 3.9 GPA and scored a 148 quantitative, 151 verbal, and 5 out of 6 on the writing (this was on the new version). I've had a decent amount of experience and volunteer hours in clinic and in special needs facilities. I got denied from Vanderbilt, but that was kind of a long shot for me. Dream big right?
