hbear Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Hello grad cafe. I am an economics student at McGill University in Canada. I have decided to attend LSE for my graduate studies and I have not much knowledge about how British graduate system works. It seems the graduate degree education duration is only for a year which is a bit peculiar to me. I was wondering, 1. If LSE accepts many applicants for Msc Economics program from overseas (given equal credentials) 2. If LSE would be difficult for a graduate of Canadian university and an Asian student to get adjust to. (culturally, academically and socially) 3. If LSE really is a good school as many people in NA seem to think so. (I have tried to do my research on this; however, most information in NA seem to suggest that LSE is a very very top notch school in league with Oxbridge, whereas my friends in England seem to disagree with such a claim). Thank you, and I wish you all luck in your academic endeavors
