hadunc Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 This is purely out of curiosity, but has anyone ever heard of someone getting denied from a grad school based on a myspace or facebook profile? Do they ever check those things? It's hard to imagine them being that thorough, but I nevertheless changed my privacy settings. Does anyone know anything about this?
IvyHope Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Who knows. It happens on the job market all the time (particularly for jobs that require some kind of integrity or character component, ie teaching). If you're worried, obviously there's some inappropriate or questionable material on there ;-) Why not just take it down? We're all grown ups now, aren't we?

I actually don't have anything questionable up, it was just a hypothetical. Although I'm not sure all of us are grown ups yet
