I applied but didn't even get the admission email? What does the email say? Do you know if the program sent out the offers at one time?

I received an e-mail this afternoon that they were impressed with my application but facing a budget situation where they can only offer a limited number of assistantships, and that I'm on the top group of wait listing for funding. Also said they should know more about funding in late March.

Yeah, my letter pretty much said the same thing. I'm just wondering how people are on the funding wait list.

Those admitted to the program, are you planning on attending (that is, funded or unfunded) or will you be declining your offer?

I'm going if funded.

What's going on with Albany, does anybody know? The emails says they would know the funding information by the end of March, but I still haven't heard anything from the director. Do you think I should email and ask?

No idea -- haven't heard anything either since the original e-mail. Assuming they figure everything out by the end of the month (AKA: now) I would hope we hear by early-April the latest.
