How good are the US news rankings for MPP programs? Does anyone know which would be a better school? No funding on either, same cost, basically same location, etc. Is there much difference?

The rankings are fairly worthless really. If these are your only two choices, I'd take AU.

Why would you take AU?

From my research, it seems like you should look at the specific policy concentrations being offered and let that be your guide. Personally, i'm interested in Social Policy and AU's curriculum is weak on that front.

From that point of view I'd go Maryland.
