OldGrad2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Does anyone know if UCR is a good school in term of graduate program? I am accepted into UCR with funding. It is my first acceptance. Although I have other interviews at Washington State CMB, Arizona State MCB, and UNLV , and I have not heard from these schools yet. Should I get accepted into one of these graduate programs, I will be force to choose between UCR and which ever else accept me. So I need help in rating the molecular biology graduate program here. I know I will get in at least one more program, so I want to compare based on you guys opinions. Please give me your thoughts if you are in biological science field as to which school is better in biological science concentration molecular cellular biology or genetics and genomics. Ratings UCR vs. WSU UCR vs ASU WSU vs ASU UCR vs UNLV WSU vs UNLV ASU vs UNLV Assuming I will get accepted to all three schools of course, which programs is better: UCR, WSU, ASU, or UNLV ??? aberrant 1
spew Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 When I told my LoR writer/professor that I was planning to apply to UCR for biochemistry he said "they have a program?"
YinanWang Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I think it depends on whether you have a POI in the program
