Admission to UTDALLAS - is it real?

Hello Guys,

I received an email yesterday night from CSE department of UT Dallas with an attachment saying "I was admitted to UT Dallas". However, I haven't received any UTD ID or password after applying.

Did anyone receive similar emails. I am not sure if I can trust this.

Please help me guys.

Well, provided the email came from a valid university address I would say congrats on getting accepted. There should be no reason for you to get paranoid. Was the email from the department or the Graduate School? Perhaps receiving the ID and password are contingent in you actually accepting the offer. Or perhaps it takes some time for the school to officially process acceptances. If you are really concerned I would suggest calling or emailing the department to confirm your acceptance. There is absoluely no need for you to freak out over this, enjoy the moment!
