luna1456 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I got an email yesterday that a grad program I am interested in will fly me out there for a visit. They say they want to get to know me better. But, at the end of the email it said that this didn't mean I was accepted. Can somebody please translate this for me? Does it mean I have pretty good shot of getting in?
ewurgler Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I say yes, you have a good chance. Go, be great, and make them want you!
Tritonetelephone Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 It means you're being interviewed. So you're on the "short list" for admission, but you're not in yet. Free trip, though! Weeee NYU flew one of my History friends to their campus for an interview last year. He did well in his interview and had a good time, but he didn't get an admission offer in the end.
