sevyn731 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 So far I've applied to four 3yr Master of Landscape Architecture programs (USC, Illinois Tech, City College of New York, and Boston Architectural College) and one Master of Urban Design (UNC Charlotte). My first choice is USC, but I'm not feeling too confident about getting in due to my 'okay for a first attemp' GRE score and my 2.8 uGPA. Although I keep falling for this romantic notion that my portfolio and stellar recommendations just might get me in, but this way of thinking may lead to my downfall. What schools have you applied to so far? Was the process of putting your portfolio together stressful at all?
katiecarroll4 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Hi there! I applied to one 3yr Master of Land Arch program (UBC) and one Urban Design Program (NY). I haven't heard a peep from either of the programs! My undergrad gpa was 3.0, but I'm also hoping my work/volunteer experience, as well as portfolio will help. I didn't find applying to be as stressful as the past couple of weeks have been. It's the waiting that is taking it's toll. I'm still trying to remain optimistic, but feel very much in the dark. It's nice to see another MLA applicant out here though! Best of luck to you! I hope we both get the acceptance we want. sevyn731 1
