admission letters.....

Im applying for some PhD programs, and I saw on the site that some people already got offer/admisson, but i still havent heard anything. what does this mean? does this mean im not gonna get accepted?

Relax. You haven't been rejected until you receive a rejection letter.

It could be any of the following:

1. The Ad Com makes admission decisions in rounds.

2. If the univ informs you of their decisions via postal mail you might not have received your letter yet.

3. You're Waitlisted.

Just hang in there and hope for the best; and if you don't hear anything for a few more weeks, just call or email them and ask. Goodluck!
