froggy797 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I recently applied to the veterinary science program at Kentucky and have had no news for three weeks. They said they were sending out letters around mid March and taking that into account, I think I should have probably received a letter by now. I've been stalking my adviser a little bit (already offered me a position), but I don't want to keep emailing with emails of doom because I am so pessimistic. So what's more important getting in with the advisers or having the awesome grades? Also has anyone heard back from this program?
risingsun11801 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 My SO is also waiting to hear from this program. It's driving me insane because I was accepted into the IBS PhD program in January and he still hasn't heard! He emailed the program director 2 days ago and received a reply yesterday, saying that they are still working out the finances for all of the students and he should hear in the next week or two.
froggy797 Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 Thank you so much! This waiting is the worst.
froggy797 Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Have you heard any updates recently? My friend got an email with her acceptance but she was not on a fellowship track?
risingsun11801 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 What do you mean your friend was not on a fellowship track? Is that different from the regular application?
