Anyone else going this Fall?

I will be applying to DePaul this year for the fall of 2013. Does anyone know if the campus is in a safe neighborhood? A friend of mine just sent me this article from ChicagoTribune.com.

It doesn't seem like a very unsafe place. Here's a website that has crime stats:

I am from Chicago and go to DePaul as an undergradate. The campus is extremely safe. But just like any place that has a lot of people, you have to be careful. I hope you guys and anyone else going to DePaul have a great time there. It is nothing like it. If you have other questions, let me know.
