dmaurath Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I currently serve with AmeriCorps at City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley, a nonprofit that works in schools to help stop the high school dropout crisis, as a senior corps project leader. One of my roles is coordinating all career and education planning support for our 52 corps members, ranging in age from 18-24. We will be hosting a career day at our office on April 20 from 9am-11am and I am looking for anyone who would like to volunteer as a panelist to answer questions about graduate school. Any field of study is welcome as our corps is very diverse. The schedule is still being finalized, but you would sit on a panel for two 50-minute sessions, and would give some background on your education, offer any advice you have and then answer questions corps members have about applying and being successful in graduate school If you're interested, please send me a message with your contact information. Ill check here often to answer any questions. More information about City Year can be found here: http://www.cityyear.org/whatwedo.aspx Thank you!
