erudite crudite Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I know this is a severely punctuated list, but if I tried to list every single obscure pocket of anthropology I'd be here all day (which I am already, but that's another story). You can choose as many as you see fit. Let me know if I grossly overlooked anything major!
Tonights Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Ooooh, who else is medical? Come out, come out.
anythingtwice Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I'm medical! :-) And interested in applied.
miratrix Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I wonder how many total votes this represents, since you can choose more than one.
Tonights Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I wonder how many total votes this represents, since you can choose more than one. Yeah, maybe there should be an "I am voting in this poll" tickybox for an accurate count.
spoonfeeding Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I checked both soc and applied, since I'm equally interested in both.
SlothOfDoom Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Answered archaeology and physical. Evolutionary, really. HBE.
Dubya Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Yeah, maybe there should be an "I am voting in this poll" tickybox for an accurate count. I'd guess about 20 people voted. Everyone who voted 'forensic' also likely check Bio. Anth...there was probably also a lot of overlap with 'Applied,' maybe some between Cultural & Medical, and between Biological and Arch. as well...
zygomatic Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Interesting that there are no linguistic votes.
Tonights Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Interesting that there are no linguistic votes. Those guys are probably over in the Linguistics forum.
zygomatic Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Those guys are probably over in the Linguistics forum. Where they belong!! jk
GirlattheHelm Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Dirt don't hurt! Total dirt anthropologist here... 8)
Fritzie Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Or maybe the linguistic people don't have anything to do with folklore, so they ticked the cultural box...? (I drift back and forth between both, so I ticked both boxes - but no folklore! C'mon, there's more to linguistic anth than that!)
