Stony Brook MA vs. Rutgers MA

Hi,

I'm new to the gradcafe forums. I recently posted, but I could use some help. I'm currently narrowing my choices between Stony Brook and Rutgers University. I think both are good schools. Although I was accepted to Bu and Pratt as well, financially SB and Rutgers are my best bets. Could anyone talk to me about their reputations as schools/personal experiences? I am also looking for a job/paid internship while in graduate school, and both schools are close to major cities. Does anyone know anything about placement or post-graduation success in either school?

Any help would be really welcome. I want to make my decision soon so that slot can be offered to another student.
