Does anyone know UW evans or Will anyone visit the Openhouse

New to Grad Cafe..

I am an international student and curious about evans. I know Evans is not in the list of top tier of mpa but is still a recommended program.

I am just wondering does UW pay more attention on WA student over student from other states and abroad? Two grad-cafers suggested that they felt unhappy during the process of applying while undergrad from UW recommended this school. (Based on former years data on Grad Cafe)

It hasnt a WOW affect like SIPA and locates in east coast----the downsides. What about the advantages? Evans has a high ranking in USNEWS anyway.
