I interviewed at 3 grad schools for the Neuroscience graduate programs at Stony Brook, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I've gotten accepted into Stony Brook and VCU but haven't heard a thing from UAB. There was only one posting for the UAB neuroscience program in the "Results" section and that was from someone who said they got rejected yesterday (April 3rd, 2012).

UAB is my #1 choice but I can't believe I haven't heard from them yet!! It's agonizing! Has anyone heard anything from them??

If I recall correctly, UAB has a rolling admissions deadline. If they interviewed into March, they are probably still deciding on the last spots.

If you don't mind, how long after your interview at VCU did you get accepted? I had a late interview and am still waiting to hear.

VCU was the fastest. I heard from them probably within 7 days of the interview. But Im not sure if thats normal for them. If I don't go to uab then I'll go there so unfortunately I still haven't denied or accepted their offer. Good luck!!

I too am waiting to hear from UAB. I have seen that on the neuroscience graduate page they have posted:

Theme 2012 Application Update:

Our Fall 2012 class is almost complete, and applications cannot be reviewed once the class has reached capacity. You may begin applying for Fall 2013 in August of this year via Apply Yourself.

Have you heard anything as of yet? This is making me incredibly nervous. Please update if you hear anything.
