Funding scenario at CMU LTI

Hi, I am an international student and I have few days back received admit(without any aid) in Masters program from Language Technologies Dept. Carnegie Mellon Univ. Though I was really excited about the result as this was my dream admit, I am feeling a bit bogged down by the staggering fee structure. At best I would be able to fund my self for one year.Master students in the same department have been funded in the past, but cant say much with the current economic crisis.I am currently in a software job for 2 years which pays well but not aligned with my interests.Am I taking a huge risk if attending CMU this fall ? Please inform me if anybody has the information regarding the current state of funding in the department and RA/ TA for prospective fall '09 students.
