anxiouslywaiting Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I noticed a posting for a GSPP Public Policy PhD rejection. In past years, the PhD decisions came out at the same time as the MPP decisions. Does this mean we might be hearing soon? I emailed them a few minutes ago and hopefully they'll respond. It seems like programs may just be sending out decisions early this year (as with the MALD), perhaps because they know it's a difficult time and they want to give people the extra time to make decisions? Perhaps this is just wishful thinking....
policy_applicant Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I doubt we'll hear until the first or second week of March. But please do post whatever you hear from the admissions folks. I'm really eager to hear from GSPP.
policy_applicant Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 My aunt in San Francisco called to ask how it was going, when I was going to hear from schools, when I would be moving to Berkeley... She's sweet but not very subtle. All my family's in Sacramento, so I get this sort of thing all the time. As far as my mom's concerned, I've only applied to one school.
anxiouslywaiting Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 Got a response. "We will be mailing our decisions in mid-March." The waiting continues....
