How would one rate McGill anthro PhD?

Hey

I am an international student admitted to McGill Anthropology. Was just going through posts in Anthropology section and nobody seems to be talking about it. Although, McGill is rated in the top 20 across the world, but, does anybody have a clue on their Anthropology Dept.?

I took a couple classes in the department when I was an undergrad (when formed the basis of my interest in the Inka) and I would say, as with most of the humanities departments at McGill it REALLY depends on what exactly you want to study. Their archaeology/ancient cultures areas are pretty weak in general, but they have some top people working in other fields. Who are you plannning on working with?
