Public Policy/Urban Policy Statement of Purpose

Dear all,

I am desirous of applying for PhD (public policy) and specialize in urban policy. I have a masters in public policy and I have been working with national level urban ministries on actual policy making and execution. My research experience is mostly during my masters degree and my work during and before the masters. My work after the masters has mostly been in urban practice as a practitioner and research has been more action oriented. I don't have research/academic publications but they are more policy documents that have been generated during my work.

I wanted to request those who have been practitioners and have done more of execution work than academic research and had applied for PhD in similar arenas, if they could share their SoPs and what are the kind of details and structuring you did and what all aspects you included in the SoP.
