mranderson Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Hello everyone! I didn't do so hot in my undergraduate introductory economics class (was a blend of micro and macro), and would like to take this class again to redeem myself for graduate school applications. Can anyone here recommend an accredited university that offers such a course (or separate micro and macro classes, if need be) that I could take online during the summer? Thanks!
jeffster Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I think we would need more information. Why do you want to take another econ course? Is your goal to study econ in grad school? If so, online classes aren't really a good way to go. Are you just trying to improve your undergrad gpa? I would think you would need to take the class at your university then.
mranderson Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 I have completed my undergraduate degree. I would like to retake an economics class and earn a superior grade to strengthen my graduate school applications (for international affairs MA programs).
TheFez Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Online classes frequently have far less value than an in-person class. Register as a non-degree seeking student at a local 4-year university (preferably the one you got your degree from)
finance89 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Take a look at these lectures before you take a course.. you will do fantstic if you can understand the lectures! Good luck!
