Chances for admission Postgraduate

Dear all,

At the moment I have graduated for my Bachelor in Political Sciences. I would like to pursue a Doctorate degree at Oxford University in England. Before that, I want to finish a Master degree in the Netherlands first. I do have a few questions concerning the chances to be admitted for a Phd programme. Is there a preference at European universities for students who finished their bachelor and master degrees at the same university, so are the chances to be admitted larger if you stay at one university or does it not make a difference whether or not you have studied at two univerisities.
