Guest Gnome Chomsky Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Hello philosophizers, I usually don't post here. I'll be graduating with a BA in linguistics (minor in philosophy) in a few months and applying to theoretical linguistics MA programs for Fall 13. Anyway, as of late, I've begun becoming discouraged with the field of linguistics because (at least at my school) most linguists don't share the same theoretical interests as me. Anyway, so I was wondering if any of you had an interest in philosophy of language/linguistics, and if you knew of any MA programs that might suit my interests? Most of the linguistics interdisciplinary programs I've found cross with rhetoric/composition, anthropology, logic (which is philosophy, but not what I had in mind), computer science, but not philosophy.
