Guest Guest Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Has anyone used http://www.citeulike.org? I found it while browsing for academic journals with RSS feeds. It looks like a way to set up an online database of the citations for the various research papers that you are currently reading. It's free, and you don't need to type in the citations for papers that are on the web because this site can extract all of the relevant details automatically. You can see who else is reading the same papers, and see what other researchers in your field are reading. You can also export to EndNote and BibTex. It looks like it's mostly used by natural and physical scientists right now. I think it would be useful for social scientists (I'm in Econ), too. I'd like to hear what others think, though, since I'm cautious about trusting unfamiliar websites.
