Hello to all,

I am new to the forum and am considering returning for a PhD in Geography (looking at UNCG). I am wanting to focus on emergency and radio commmunications as relating to improving emergency management, public safety and radio interoperability. I have both an MA in Geography/Planning and a Master of Public Administration. I have solid GPA's...3.7 in both and am in two academic honor societies. I have also been published several times in for-profit periodicals. I am over six years of full time sworn law enforcement experience and 16 years of HAM radio and hold a commercial FCC license. I live and breathe radio communications and did most of my masters work in radio comms as related to geography and researching trends and new technologies . Any thoughts from anyone either in this area or know anyone who has explored this?

Thanks,

Mike
