jcwillin Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I'd be interested in some information from those applying and accepted to this program. Maybe we can use the format suggested by previous users: Program: Undergraduate: Graduate: GRE: Research Experience: Work Experience: Applied: Accepted: I'll be glad to start it off: Program: PhD in Teaching and Learning (Math and Science) Undergraduate: BSE in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering (3.6/4.0) from a top 20 US program Graduate: MEd in Mathematics Education (3.9/4.0) from a top 5 US program GRE: 165 Verbal, 170 Quantitative, 6 Analytical Research Experience: 2 years undergraduate, 1 year graduate Work Experience: 3 years in engineering and 6 years teaching high school level math, physics, chemistry, and biology Applied: Vanderbilt Accepted: NA I'll update as I hear anything; would love to hear other experiences too!
kismetcapitan Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 GRE scores matter at Peabody. No particularly good reason why, but they do. GPA matters less than other salient factors (SOP, recommendations, etc); this is according to my advisor. LaBelleDameSansMerci 1
