Yellow#5 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 It's easy to focus on the negative in any profession. I think it's important to stay focused on what it is you're striving for, what you want to achieve and when you clearly see that you are not achieving it in your chosen discipline/profession, work on achieving it elsewhere. Grad school might be exactly like that, but you can't know until you try. You can always switch course again, but avoiding going for the PhD because of what you might encounter is not a good strategy, I think.
