Tempest36 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Recently started my PhD applications and i've found almost all of them have a section asking if you've had contact with any of the academics in the department before. I've seen people recommending this before but.. How do you initiate a beneficial dialogue with them? And how helpful is it to do this?
