ECE at Davis

Hello,

What do people know about the ECE department at Davis? Davis has some really cool research projects on energy efficiency, hybrid vehicles, etc. and it would be interesting to work on EE projects related to this. Has anyone gone (or planning to go) to Davis for ECE?

I don't know about Davis' ECE department, but it's a good place to be if you're interested in PHEV's or all-electric vehicles. The Institute of Transportation Studies is huge, active, and renowned.
