AHGRE Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Hi guys, So I just finished taking my GRE and received scores of 142V 155Q. I know these scores are abysmal, but I'm considering applying to stats/math programs out of the top 50 range (Case Western, Rochester, etc). I graduated from a accredited university (UC Berkeley) and have won several awards. My overall GPA is 3.11. Any advice if I should retake or not? Thanks!
Instigate Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Based on your field of interest I would say that you have the potential to score much higher than 155 on the quant. So if I were you I would retake it, but then again I dont know what the requirements for the schools are. As long as your score is above the mean (or median whichever they have listed on their websites) for the schools you are applying you should be fine, but a nice GRE score could never hurt.
