harrisce4 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Hi everyone, I am new to the forum so want to give an intro/background. I graduated with my B.S. in Marketing this past December. Immediately after, I moved to NYC to pursue my dreams of account management within in advertising agency. After landing my entry-level role with a global agency here, I've decided that I will eventually want to move into brand management, and rather than work agency-side, I'd like to work client-side. I have a tremendous amount of interest in consumer behavior, branding, and marketing research. Having less than a year of post-graduate work experience, I decided to apply to MBA programs next fall. I wanted to get a jump start on my MBA though, so I applied to Fordham- GSB for their pre-MBA program. Luckily, I was accepted!! So, this fall I am currently taking 3 MBA-level courses. I'm hoping I will do well in the program so I will show Admissions assoc. that I may be young, but I am ready to take on my MBA. With my 1-year countdown officially beginning, I have so many questions I'd like to ask and thought that this forum would be a great place for that. I currently am interested in about 12 MBA programs (both PT & FT), and by next summer I hope to narrow down the list to 8 (if possible). I'm hoping to hear stories from people who were/are going through my current situation as a prospective graduate student (specifically B-school student). If anyone has any advice for me as far as preparation is concerned, please feel free to share! Can't wait to hear from you!
