College Review -- UFL Gainsville Computer Science ?

I am thinking of applying to UFL for MS compute science. However, there has been a lot of talk about UFL closing down their CS program. I found a review on UFL CS program at http://www.blog.acadiary.com/2012/03/college-review-university-of-florida.html which I thought was pretty useful. However I am still not very sure if I should apply there due to the uncertainty about the future of CS over there.

It is surprising that in this age of computer science, a state university is considering closing down the CS department. Request other prospective applications and current students to share your views.
