PhD programs emphasizing ESL Composition and Writing Center Administration?

Hello all,

I'm having the hardest time finding a PhD program (other than 1 or 2) that emphasize ESL Composition without being a linguistics program. I'm interested in connections between second language writing/aquisition and writing center theory.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked at the Arizona schools? I can't remember which ones, but I had a friend who did the same area and he applied to a couple of schools in Arizona.
