Hi,

So, just about to submit but worried about eligibility. You know on the page where you select what "option/status" you are

Option A = You are currently registered at a foreign university.

***I'm NOT currently registered

Option B = You are not currently registered at a university; or are registered, but not in a degree program; and have graduated from a degree program prior to January 1 of this year.

***I graduated NOT prior to January 1 of this year (May 2012)

Option C = You are registered at (or were registered at during the year of application), or are on approved leave of absence from a Canadian university in a degree program.

***I did NOT attend a Canadian university

Option D = You are not currently registered at a university; or are registered, but not in a degree program; and have graduated from a degree program from a Canadian university since January 1 of this year."

***I did NOT graduate from a Canadian university though I did graduate since January of this year (May 2012)

To summarize, I'm a Canadian citizen who did undergrad in the US and who graduated May 2012 and who is currently not registered at any university.

Am I technically not eligible?

Good question, I can't seem to figure out what option you should pick either.

You must be eligible, but you definitely want to pick the right option. I suggest emailing and calling NSERC ASAP. They will be very busy with all the applications being due, but try contacting them. Email them now and trying calling all Monday!
