crepedcrusader Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Hello Everyone I thought I would get some advice from this board about the range of schools I should be applying to. I did my undergrad at IIT, double majoring in Political Science and Psychology and finished with a GPA of 3.1. I am now in the MPP program at Northwestern University with a 4.0 GPA. My GRE scores are 164 Verbal, 162 Quant, and 4.5 writing. My research interests are race and ethnic politics, development, and political identity. I also have a year and a half worth of research experience in a psych lab. I'm really worried about my low undergrad GPA but I hope my MPP GPA will help balance that out. Based on this whats the range of schools you would recommend?
Darth.Vegan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I honestly wouldn't even worry about your undergrad GPA. Northwestern is a great school and having a 4.0 graduate GPA should buffer any concerns regarding your undergrad GPA.
