etxiaopp Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Hey guys, I am one of the graduating seniors who is struggling about grad school application. I am an international student but is finishing my BS degree in BME in UW-Madison. Here are some information of me: GPA: 3.64/4.0 GRE: 149V 164Q 3W (Yeah... I know, as a non-native English speaker, I tried my best...) Research: 1 summer research in molecular biology in Vanderbilt Had co-op experience in Genentech about oncology and cell culture Currently doing research in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering in UW-Madison Publication: None LORs: 1 letter from summer research PI 2 letters from professors who taught my BME courses, but not related to regenerative medicine. And I am trying to have my current PI to write me one letter. Applying: UCSD Stanford John Hopkins U Penn UC Berkeley/UCSF UCLA U Washington-Seattle Cornell GIT UBC (Canada) I am positive that I can enroll an one year master program in UW-Madison, so I do not have "safety school" on the list. Do you think I will have a good chance to be accepted by any of the schools? Or please feel free to share your information, so we can talk about it and figure out together. Best wishes to the people who are applying now. etxiaopp 1
