nagisayuu Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) Hi everyone, I'm an international student on OPT working at a reputed US University. My department is mainly responsible for developing global initiatives and joint-venture programs with foreign institutions. I wish to stay with my current employer as long as possible provided I'll obtain the work visa, but 6 years down the road I would like to take an educational leave and come back after finishing another degree for career advancement. What would be my options? If I want to move into doctoral study of higher education (can't afford M.Ed.), which specialization ties into my work experience? Another concern is my academic background Low Liberal Arts GPA (3.56) from a top 5 Chinese University Political Science MA from a pretty low-ranked LAC (GPA 4.00) 2 conference presentations (one 1st author, 1 as RA for my professor's research) GRE test scores 161V 161Q AW 4.5 (Will retake when expired) Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
