Rumors fly around about spending freezes, etc., but I still think there is plenty of funding. What do you know about students receiving funding? Is it usually after being admitted?
magiclogic Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 once you are admitted they will send a letter with the fellowship info, sometimes they send a fellowship letter separately from the acceptance letter. UT Austin has a really good School of Education. Good luck on you application.

This program is only recommended to those with working experience, according to the webpage. Not a big chance to me but worth trying... Bless all~
akiko Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I received a letter from a Graduate Advisor yesterday. It said that I should get my official acceptance letter in the mail soon. The website did not give me any updates.

baileysamson Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Yes, I also applied to UT Austin's EPP program and found out I was accepted on Friday. The grad coordinator just updated the website Friday morning, so you should be able to see your status via UT Direct with your UTEID and password. I heard that 12-15 students had been accepted and that a letter would be coming in the mail in a couple of weeks.
magiclogic Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Got an email from UT Austin today, was admitted to the Ph.D. program in Educational Psychology department with the concentration in Quantitative Methods. Will receive official letter soon, no word on funding yet.
