I am finishing up my applications for a Statistic PhD. I am interested in doing research in mathematical finance and probability modeling. Should I attend the best school I am admitted to or select the school with the most professors doing research in my areas of interest? My goal is to have a career in academia. My schools of interest are: Michigan, UPenn, Iowa St, Florida, and Oklahoma St.

Background:

Undergraduate Majors: Math and Finance

Minor: Economics

Graduate: MS Quantitative Finance
